On track, we are so lucky as to experience a glimpse of the superstar athlete that is Allyson Felix. But the work she relentlessly puts in behind the scenes, to perform at her peak for a race no farther than 400 meters, is what defines her true champion spirit. Drills and workouts at the track are staples in a training week—but Peloton tends to fill much of the rest of Allyson’s plan, taking strength, cycling, running and walking classes with her Peloton hardware. Even as a sprinter, a variety of rides, walks and long runs are a crucial part of establishing a strong aerobic base so that the rest of Allyson’s training can thrive. But Allyson isn’t the only Peloton Member in her household: “My husband is a Peloton diehard and rides at least once a day … and some days three times a day! He’s dedicated, hardworking and has fun. I love it, and it’s so inspiring to me.”

Sprinting is, naturally, a solo endeavor, which means that hard training sessions are just as much a mental test as they are physical. But with Peloton in her corner, Allyson truly feels part of a team. “This community keeps me going when I’m struggling to find the motivation. It’s fun to ‘see the person next to you’ on the Leaderboard. Those high fives are everything, and I love feeling that support!” Community is a through line in all of Allyson’s achievements. From gold medals at the top of her sport to the birth of her daughter, Allyson has always cited the people around her as a source of inspiration and strength. “I am blessed to have such amazing support in my family, friends and training group. But my community also includes those who have lifted me up and cheered me on through my professional career. My competitors for pushing me. Moms who shared their stories and inspired me through Camryn’s birth.”
