Introducing Our New Strength Instructor, Logan Aldridge

Hear all about the new perspectives (and adaptive training expertise) he's bringing to the team.

Logan, we're ecstatic to have you on board as an instructor! To start things off—what motivates you?

I get curious about the unknown—getting comfortable being uncomfortable—and that adaptation provokes progress.

You see, I love the word impossible. I mean, look, it’s literally the most empowering word because it says I'm possible in it. And from that perspective, whenever you hear impossible, you're like, yes, let's go. Possible is where we start—that’s where we begin.

How do you see a challenge?

My perspective on obstacles is opportunity. Obstacles are a way to develop, so we have to seek out doing hard things. When you’re presented with something not so typical for yourself, you see how you can move forward. This is the key to continued growth; physically, mentally, and spiritually.

We hear your mantra is: “It’s just an arm.” Could you break that down for us?

“It's just an arm” is my mantra, my statement, my empowerment term that I can use for myself in situations when I need to be reminded of the abundance and opportunity in my life. “It's just an arm” shifts my brain from a perspective that’s concerned about the what-ifs—what if this obstacle is too difficult? When I say that statement, it makes my brain think about what I do have.

And your signature quote?

“Tell me I can’t, and I will.”
