PELOTON CELEBRATES IRÈNE KAYMER’S HOMECOMING AS THE GERMAN INSTRUCTOR MAKES HER BIG RETURN

 Peloton, a leading global fitness company, today announced the welcome return of Irène Kaymer, Peloton Germany’s first Instructor who originally joined the company when it launched in Germany four years ago.  

From Spring 2024, Irène will begin teaching live and on-demand Cycling and Strength classes, joining the 11 other German-speaking Instructors specialising in Cycling, Tread, Strength, Yoga, Meditation, Walking and Outdoor content.  

The announcement was first made at this morning’s (26 November) sold out London Calling Members weekend at Peloton Studios London, where Irène surprised Peloton Members with an appearance alongside Cycling and Strength Instructor Erik Jäger.

Irène Kaymer, said: “After taking a break over the past couple of years to focus on myself, getting married and starting a family, I decided to make the return to Peloton so that I can continue to share my love and passion for health and fitness. It has been an amazing experience reconnecting with the Peloton community, and I can’t wait to begin teaching Peloton Members across Germany and Austria, helping them stay motivated wherever they are in their own fitness journey.”

Peloton’s library of content has thousands of classes in the German language, including a recently launched collection of classes that are dubbed in German, with more being rolled out in the coming months.  

Irène’s return follows the recent news of Peloton’s partnership with one of the biggest personalities in the football world, Jürgen Klopp - Liverpool Football Club’s manager. The multi-channel campaign includes promotional pricing, with Peloton Bikes and Treads available from Peloton or on Amazon, and at leading sports equipment retailer Sport-Tiedje.*
