How to Use Sunday Motivational Quotes to Start Your Week Off Right

Words are powerful, and seeking out Sunday motivational quotes is a great first step toward having a more positive, inspired outlook on the upcoming week. Suzanne Mungalez, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of The MaMA Space refers to this process as a “mindset switch.”

“Our brains are often working overtime giving us false negative messaging,” Mungalez says. “Motivational quotes can act as a tool to counter these negative messages. The repetition of positive quotes or affirmations can eventually be internalized in the same ways that negative messages are internalized. This way, we have a bank of positivity to pull from when internalized negative messages rise to the surface at the start of the week.”

You can also incorporate reading Sunday motivational quotes into your weekend routine. Courtney Morgan, a licensed therapist and founder of Counseling Unconditionally, says it could be the key to smoothly transitioning from Sunday to Monday.

“I really love rituals because it helps you to stay mindful of your goals and intentions, which helps you make progress,” she says “Engaging in routines creates stability and familiarity, which is really useful during times of chaos or uncertainty.”
