Bike and Bike+ both have a compact 120 cm x 60 cm footprint to fit nicely in homes of all sizes.


The total dimensions of Bike+ are 137 cm L x 56 cm W x 152 cm H. We recommend at least 24” of space on all sides for storing and training. The ceiling height minimum is 8' to ensure all riders have adequate headroom.

Peloton IQ provides training and insights designed to personalise every workout. Peloton IQ is available on all Peloton devices, but its most advanced features (e.g. Movement Tracking) can only be experienced on the Cross Training Bike+, Tread+, and Row+. A Peloton All-Access Membership (£0/mo) is required to access all Peloton content and applicable features on your Peloton hardware.

All-Access Membership gives you and your household access to our entire library of live and on-demand classes including cycling, strength, bootcamp, outdoor running, yoga, stretching and more, all on the Bike and the Peloton App.

You’ll also have access to guided, time-based and distance-based Scenic classes, training programs tailored to meet your goals, and regularly scheduled challenges. One Peloton All-Access Membership provides access to Peloton content and all features on one Bike and Tread. Age, height and weight restrictions apply.

Cycling shoes enhance your Peloton experience and are recommended. Peloton Bikes require Delta-compatible cleats.

Peloton cycling shoes have a narrow to normal fit. If you fall between sizes or have a wider foot, we recommend sizing up.

Bike+ has a bigger 23.8” swivel screen, and comes standard with Sonos-tuned speakers, a fan, phone tray, and an auto-resistance option which automatically changes resistance levels to match instructors’ cues. Bike+ also has a Movement-Tracking Camera to track your reps and deliver form analysis. For added stability and floor protection, we recommend placing a protective mat under your Bike or Bike+. These are available for purchase on our Accessories page.

If you are installing your Bike or Bike+ on carpeted floors, a Bike Mat will add additional stability to help prevent your bike from rocking as you ride.
If you have thick pile carpeting, install 6.35mm plywood underneath the mat to ensure a stable ride.

Yes, you can install your Peloton Bike or Bike+ in a garage or unfinished basement as long as there is an outlet you can connect it to. However, we recommend placing your Peloton Bike in a temperature-controlled environment away from objects you can bump into. For the Bike, your space should have a 244 cm ceiling height clearance. Additional clearance is recommended for bootcamp or other mat classes, though.

Your Peloton membership remains the same across products — there is no need to update your membership or subscription from one product to the other and it’s automatically supported on your new device.

Please note: All-Access Memberships can only be shared across products of different types (e.g. exercise bike and treadmill). In the case of having 2 products of the same type (e.g. Bike and Bike+) two separate All-Access Memberships are required.
